Twitter bans Donald Trump’s account: Here’s all you need to know
Recently, late Friday, the micro blogging company Twitter Inc. bans former US president Donald Trump’s twitter account stating that his recent tweets violated the company’s policy against glorification of violence.
Here’s the reason why Twitter bans Donald Trump’s account:
Explaining the Donald Trump’s twitter account ban, the company referred to Trump’s recent tweets on the Capitol Hill attack and said, the tweets violated the company’s policy against glorification of violence. Twitter in its blog said, “these two Tweets must be read in the context of broader events in the country and the ways in which the President’s statements can be mobilized by different audiences, including to incite violence, as well as in the context of the pattern of behavior from this account in recent weeks.” Twitter cited “the risk of further incitement of violence” referring to the ban.
Twitter Inc said on Friday that it has permanently suspended US President Donald Trump’s account due to the risk of further incitement of violence following the storming of the US Capitol on Wednesday.https://t.co/OpmqGOruXZ

Before the ban, Trump’s account was suspended temporarily on the day of the attack for posting a series of tweets that mislead users about the presidential election results and appeared to encourage violent rioters who had mobbed the US Capitol. But now Twitter Inc has permanently banned @realDonaldTrump. However Trump’s official account for @POTUS remains live. Reacting to the ban Trump exclaimed that he’d be “building out our own platform in the near future. We will not be SILENCED!” He shooted off tweets from the official presidential account, accusing the company of conspiring with the “Radical Left.” However, the social site quickly deleted the tweets.
