Boycott Brahmastra vs We Love Brahmastra? Which side of Netizens are More Powerful and What is Your Stand?
Netizens are not in mood to stop their ‘Mission Boycott Bollywood’ as we see yet another trend intensifying on Twitter. This time it is Boycott Brahmastra vs Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt fans, let’s see how far the trend war goes on.
Twitter Trends: Boycott Brahmastra
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are promoting their movie “Brahmastra” as its release date approaches. As the excitement for the fantasy adventure movie grows, netizens have repeatedly called for a boycott of the movie for various reasons. Whether it was Karan Johar’s support or Alia Bhatt’s comments in a recent interview, the movie has been making the wrong headlines. This time, internet users discovered an old interview with Ranbir Kapoor from the ‘Rockstar’ film’s promotional materials in which he discusses his love of cuisine and mentions that he enjoys eating beef.
Some online users decided it was sufficient enough to revive the #BoycottBrahmastra craze. “Ranveer Kapoor beef khata hai. Yahi Brahmastra ka heero hai. #BoycottBrahmastra”, a Twitter user tweeted. Another person wrote, “Must boycott this beef guy.” Others disagreed, saying there is no justification for a movie boycott, and they tweeted their support. A user tweeted, “It’s his choice if he wants to eat or not.” Another person who supported Ranbir wrote, “At least he is trying to make a movie about our past.”
A video clip from Alia’s interview when she claimed that viewers could decide not to watch her movies was also dug up by certain online users.

A female voice, though, caught everyone’s attention in the promo.
Well, the voice that we hear is unmistakably that of Deepika Padukone, and even her admirers have recognized it as her voice. Ayan stated while posting the trailer that he couldn’t believe Brahmastra would be out in only ten days. The director continued by saying that while he and his core team had owned the movie up until this point, the audience now owns it, and he hoped they would enjoy it.
