Jacqueline Fernandez appears in the Sukesh Chandrasekhar money laundering case at the Patiala House Court in Delhi. Since her name was revealed in connection with a money laundering case involving con artist Sukesh Chandrasekhar, Jacqueline Fernandez has captured everyone’s attention. The ED had called the actress on multiple occasions to record her statement for the case. On social media, there were several rumours that the actress was dating the con artist, but Jacqueline has always remained silent and requested privacy. According to recent sources in Etimes, the actress has been granted temporary bail. However, the Ram Setu actress had a court appearance on Saturday in Patiala House in Delhi.

She is depicted in the photos sporting a white top that she teamed with black pants. In an earlier Chargesheet from the ED, Jacqueline and Nora Fatehi were interviewed and said that the accused Sukesh gave them the most expensive gifts—top-model BMW vehicles.

Charge sheet from ED on Jacqueline Fernandez Extortion Case related to Sukesh Chandrasekhar

According to the ED charge sheet, statements of Jacqueline Fernandez were recorded during the inquiry on August 30, 2021, and October 10, 2021. Jacqueline claimed to have received gifts, including two Gucci gym suits and three beautiful bags from Chanel and Gucci.

As reported by NDTV, the ED claims that he gave Fernandez and another Bollywood starlet, Nora Fatehi, extravagant presents and fancy cars. According to the charge document, Jacqueline Fernandez confessed to receiving presents from the conman, including five watches, 20 pieces of jewellery, 65 pairs of shoes, 47 outfits, 32 purses, 4 Hermes bags, nine paintings, and a Versace dinnerware set during questioning by the investigation team.

Jacqueline gets relief on Diwali

Jacqueline Fernandez has got a big relief from the court on Diwali. In the money laundering case, the court has extended the bail of Jacqueline. The matter will now come up for hearing on November 10. Jacqueline must have got some relief from this decision of the court. But this does not mean that Jacqueline’s tension is completely over. During the hearing of the case in Delhi’s Patiala House Court, Jacqueline was present along with her lawyer Prashant Patil.

During the hearing, the court has also ordered the ED to give charge sheet and necessary documents related to the case to all the parties. Jacqueline was close to Sukesh Chandrashekhar, the main accused in the 200 crore fraud case. He is accused of taking profit from the cheated amount. The ED had made Jacqueline an accused in the case in August. On the other hand, Jacqueline had said that in this case, she herself is the victim of con man Sukesh Chandrashekhar and his associates.
